"Around 1993, when Stabbing Westward was recording Ungod, Stuart Zechman was playing guitar for both Filter and Stabbing Westward. For some reason he used the same guitar line for "Ungod" and "Hey Man Nice Shot". When both bands had been made aware of this, they made a decision for neither band to sue once the songs are released. By chance, "Hey Man Nice Shot" was released as the first single from Filter..."
