That's the problem with putting faith in science. Scientific method works well, but experimentation either offers a tentative explanation, or a partially explained theory. A lot of explanations and theories have been disproved or expanded on, so why put faith in scientific discoveries?

Incoming44, did you fail to see the point entirely, or are you just the most ignorant bint I've ever experienced? the point of science is that you don't need to put "faith" in it. Theories being disproved or expanded upon is expected, and any scientist who is upset by that is not a true scientist. Being a true pragmatic thinker is accepting that as a young race, humans are stupid, and we don't know everything. But actually trying by experimentation and failure is the most noble deed there is.

prove what? the non-existence of god? the onus is on you to prove your beliefs not me. extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and if you cant provide it, it is rational to not beleive it. i'm an atheist about all man made gods, and so are you about all of them except for one apparently, and i'm an agnostic about whether theres a god beyond our understanding and about some other supernatural claims.
