Got an 8 but I'm whiter than Bob Saget. Although it is kind of unfair to make a test like this. As a white person I wouldn't be able to tell where certain people are from in Europe by face alone. The only thing that would give it away would be accent or behavoir, and those are always missleading. Still, fun little game.

I understand the difference between nationality and race, but I've seen Japanese, Chinese and Korean referred to as seperate "sub races" of the asian race. I suppose I should change that to avoid confusion....

OK, the loop is solid, but two minutes of a solid six-second loop may grate on some nerves. The drum beats are a bit... ah... intense. Do what you will. I got only one right. Every time I changed my answer halfway, my first instinct was correct.

there are differences, but its subtle. It's in the facial structure. Japanese faces are more like, altaic/mongol looking with more defined features like cheek bones etc (also more wonky teeth i've noticed), wheras Chinese (Han Chinese that is) have more of that classic "moon face" look, less definition. Also sometimes japanese have like more of a distinctive bronzed sorta skin tone.

Pretty tough - I spent a year in Korea and I could tell the diff between Koreans and Japanese, but not Japanese and Chinese. In some cases, they do look the same - Like Americans and Canadians, I guess.

As one of those Asians (although I'm filipino) I'm not offended by this at all. But this can be just as easily done with Caucasians or any race for that matter. How about distinguishing between Germans, Polish and Swedish people. You all look alike to me.
