Description: In mathematics, 0.999… is a recurring decimal exactly equal to 1. In other words, the symbols '0.999…' and '1' represent the same real number. (source Wikipedia) This really the only math YTMND, I could do, I suck at math. Thanks Wikipedia.

It's more of a limits fault with base 10 algebra. .9999 repeating doesn't actually equal 1.
+1

5d for the argument this will hopefully start.

drmarioMD, yeah, like it says in the description, I know almost nothing when it comes math. Except basic stuff. And a bit of algebra.

Which I didn't know was a limits fault.

This has been done. Also, it's not true. Don't listen to mathematicians they're f*cking crazy.

actually theres the proof of .999 repeating equaling 1. I used to be a doubter, but .99 repeating does equal one. 1/3 x 3, the threes cancel and you end up with one, so 1/3 x 3=1. However, rewriting 1/3 as .33 repeating gives you, .333 repeating x 3 = .999 repeating. Therefore, .999 repeating =1. Arguably, the actual answer is somewhat of a limit, but the limit cannot be written. drmarioMD is right in that theres a limit fault, but is wrong in saying that .999 repeating isn't 1.

3 for lack of effort, If I thought of doing it, but passed it up, it sucks

Seen it before, and the one I saw before was animated and moved into infinity.

Damn you! You made me learn something! Now my brain hurts. :(

Jesus, does everything have to be f*cking animated these days. Whoopie de do, thaEdderz, all you did was take the same f*cking image and just animate and add music. WHO REALLY GIVES A F*CK.
