Step off, sir.
2006-10-01 23:09:42

Feel free to actually watch it or don't bother voting/commenting.
2006-10-01 23:11:49

I got through the 17 pages, but it became kind of an endurance race... Maybe I'm just really tired, but 17 pages seems a bit heavy to watch slide-by-slide, maybe post it all on a forum if you want people to read it.
2006-10-01 23:12:13

WTF! This isnt about Saints Row!
2006-10-01 23:20:00

Also and or something.
2006-10-01 23:22:32

jesus be with you
2006-10-01 23:22:52

Those f*cking evil Caffy-licks. Always out there to getcha, eh?
2006-10-01 23:29:18

I'm ready to accept death when it comes, and I'm willing to pay any consequences as well. I believe that I'm doing my part to help others because it makes me feel better in return by doing so. I can't accept beliefs solely on faith. I would be lying to myself and everyone else, even if I were to act like I believed when I clearly don't. I don't think true belief is something that can be taught, it's probably something predisposed or gained through a personal experience.
2006-10-01 23:33:10

Anyway, I found the stories to be touching and I agree with the morality and underlying intentions behind spreading good through religion. I'm happy to support others if they have good hearts, but I do so only for humankind and not for a greater power. I don't see anything wrong with agnosticism, people are just being honest to themselves by admitting they don't understand everything.
2006-10-01 23:51:21

Pray for me kind sir for the evils of this world are taking their tolls..
2006-10-02 00:00:54

I 3'd this ytmnd, because I felt like that is what it deserved. It lost points with me because unlike the last one where I liked the presentation more than the content (truthfully) and it seemed like if one is not a follower of God you will burn in Hell. What does God say or do to the Buddhist monks that have sworn an oath of pacifism or the person that may not be perfect, but they hold the door open for people and such? My biggest gripe with religion is how people have carried out their doctrine.
2006-10-02 00:05:29

Jim Jones, Al-Qaeda Moonies, Mormons, and other sects have one thing in common: They all use religion for their own interests and use terror methods or shady origins and ways to get their points across. Religion is not for everyone, I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and belief, and I think that we are our own gods and we sculpt our own world. You don't have to follow a centuries old book, scroll, or set of rules to know that killing, being too self-absorbed and even saying thank you
2006-10-02 00:08:19

are good things to keep in mind. I bet you that if Allah, Jehovah, God, Buddha and all the other divinities were to look down at some of the ways their words have been carried out, they would be just shocked, as most, if not all of these divinities would've assumed that the common man has common sense and not crash planes into buildings, or stone people to death or whatever else people have done wrong.
2006-10-02 00:08:27

:D
2006-10-02 00:09:15

religion can do some great things but still I think it isn't more than wishful thinking oh well 4d for the positive message
2006-10-02 00:09:51

Correction: killing and narcissism (self-absorbed) are BAD things.
2006-10-02 00:13:40

ass
2006-10-02 00:15:23

meh i don't know...he isn't a preachy as he normally is. This isn't as bad as the other abominations he has made
2006-10-02 00:19:26

YTMND should be about footballs to the groin, punching the keys, pondering what love is, NEDM, and everything that you can't say or do at work or school. Not battles of ideology- we get enough of that fed to us by the media as it is.
2006-10-02 00:31:22

I sometimes wonder if religious people realize that some people can’t believe certain things based solely on faith. Whet, do you realize that a lot of us can’t believe a lot of this stuff because we are incapable of belief and not because it would stop us from living life the way we want. I would love to be Christian! It would give me easy answers to all of my questions and a moral compass for which to live my life.
2006-10-02 00:36:21

A positive message. Most people won't understand what you're trying to say or will reject it, but maybe someone will hear you.
2006-10-02 00:40:04

ppl leave you the longest comments, its funny what lengths ppl go to to push their beliefs on others
2006-10-02 00:41:41

nroth, it is hard. I don't believe in God solely on faith. I think it makes more sense that there should be a God than not, and I believe that the Christian Bible explains that better to me than the Qur'an, the Torah, or any other number of religions. I do not believe in polytheism either. Christians are not polytheists, we believe in the Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit, but they are all extensions of one God as much as you're arms legs and head are all a part of you.
2006-10-02 00:43:13

Anyhow that was kind of off-track. Anyways, Whet I was not a fan of the minor slander of the Roman Catholics in there. I have known many benevolent catholics. I do not agree with the policies of the Church, but that does not mean that all of its followers are evil people.
2006-10-02 00:54:30

However, you still need faith to make that leap from being agnostic to a theist. That is why most people who are actively agnostic (can't answer the god question but care about it) can't commit to the idea of god. For someone who might have been taught at birth to be religious it might be hard to understand why agnostics can’t make, what seems like to the theist, to be the small leap of faith.
2006-10-02 01:04:14

WTF on the catholic stuff? You're anti catholic too?
2006-10-02 01:09:23

btw few of the slides are too fast and a few a a little too slow
2006-10-02 01:21:48

pray for me
2006-10-02 01:22:40

btw, you need pictures or something more than text to give this style and spice it up. drop shadow the text perhaps.
2006-10-02 01:41:14

Continue the Good Work, brother.
2006-10-02 01:56:09

*yawn*
2006-10-02 03:55:21

Not as lame as the infidels one so 2 stars for the effort. It's still pointless. People died happy, nothing new there. Jesus' sacrifice is meaningless if people go to Hell for not believing. I would get crucified and not hold it against people for not believing. Kahalachan > Jesus
2006-10-02 04:37:20

needs more sweet raptor jesus
2006-10-02 07:09:06

5 because I love that there are good Christian people here, not just a bunch of f*cktards. But I don't get slide 9 you say she didn't know much about Jesus because she was Roman Catholic? I grew up Roman Catholic but really I just consider myself a christian, I don't differentiate between the different sects. But I can say that we pretty much learn the same thing as every other Christian religion, we learn about Jesus just as much as the others. The protestant sects are all branched from Catholicism.
2006-10-02 07:09:40

Once again, very well done. Amazing stories. I truly wish I could sponsor this to help more people see it, but the pockets are only so deep. God Bless, Whetstone.
2006-10-02 07:48:11

Everyone needs to realize it is up to them to get to know God. You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. John 4:13 -14 Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
2006-10-02 08:21:23

most good indeed beary good indeed
2006-10-02 08:34:08

As promised, I sponsered your new site. Thanks whetstone
2006-10-02 09:37:12

why I am not a christian: http://www.evilbible.com/why_i_am_not_a_christian.htm sit down whetstone, your existance means nothing.
2006-10-02 10:26:58

falco the fact you 1 star'd it just because you disagree makes anything further you say meaningless. Why would we listen to something at that level of immaturity?
2006-10-02 10:35:31

By the way falco @ that link... The people in "hell" have not just "been bad" they have committed unthinkable acts, refused to see them as evil and would do them again. As C.S.Lewis says "The gates of hell are locked from the inside". These are the kind of people that are never sorry they did the crime, they are sorry they got caught. They abuse their free will by taking away others, and they refuse to own up to what they have done and will never see what they have done as evil or selfish.
2006-10-02 10:36:08

I ask you what else can be done with these people? If it were possible for them to be saved and become good people it would be so. But it is not so.
2006-10-02 11:40:17

5 because you PMed me!!!
2006-10-02 12:46:00

if people dont like whetstone because he makes a point by being open minded about religon and the after life, then go ahead. i am going to keep upvoting him for spite AND because he doesnt use glowing text and scary music.
2006-10-02 12:49:06

...well I used scary music in the last one :D
2006-10-02 13:29:18

+5 for hope
2006-10-02 13:40:49

I thought it would be difficult to watch the whole thing, but I'm really glad I did. Keep up the good work!
2006-10-02 14:40:17

As much as I dislike the whole religious argument that has been going on here on YTMND, I did like this. Well played sir
2006-10-02 16:12:46

you are on the wrong website.
2006-10-02 17:36:13

Very Moving.
2006-10-02 17:39:49

Why aren't you banned yet?
2006-10-02 17:46:47

Well, this has been found by the guys on YTMND Vent. I tried to stop them, i honestly tried. Sorry :(
2006-10-02 17:59:21

Good site, good message, but the music is too gay. Change it to something from from the Hitman Agent 47 game series soundtracks or something.
2006-10-02 18:05:40

2006-10-02 18:10:55

2006-10-02 18:46:03

Thanks
2006-10-02 18:46:12

Sumguy21 does not approve of your message, but he gives a 5 anyways cuz he's cool like that.
2006-10-02 18:47:43

Awesome, Jesus lusts for child blood.
2006-10-02 18:48:53

I think this qualifies as f*ggy short film.
2006-10-02 18:52:28

myeah, go away, nobody likes you...
2006-10-02 18:54:38

Die, please.
2006-10-02 18:55:37

This is beyond Chicken Soup for the Christian soul. This is more like melted Jolly Rancher plus Pixie Sticks and Kool-Aid for the Christian soul. It's very well done, however, and it utilizes a very expertly composed original musical track. I could not give this less than a four in good conscience. I guess some blowhard's going to call for your banishment again after this.
2006-10-02 18:57:11

You're on the wrong site, sir. This isn't a place for blind religious preaching/trolling. Now unless you have something to contribute involving a shoe and someone's head, get out now, please.
2006-10-02 19:02:24

Get bent you f*cking queer.
2006-10-02 19:04:29

Please go away. I thought the dark ages of ytmnd religious bitching were over, but you HAD to bring it back.
2006-10-02 19:09:39

Dude, f*ck you. OFF OF MY INTERNETS ALREADY!
2006-10-02 19:13:39

A tad long. Music was good. I can deal without the funny. I also dont mind that it is preachy. I mean really, half the sh*t on YTMND is preaching, be it some crap fad, or christianity. Atleast your not an *ssh*l*e. Free speech permeates the tubes. As long as youre not Cyberman. If so, I take it all back. Stfu. -1 for length.
2006-10-02 19:18:08

Boo religion on YTMND! Boo anti-Catholicism! HOORAY BEER! Also, get off of this site and the internets.
2006-10-02 19:25:17

Nice intro, but really, Jesus hates you. The second you die, you'll get a thousand dirty dicks inserted into your ass. Be ready.
2006-10-02 19:29:43

I'm not religous but in some cases it's more fun to annoy teenage Atheists then Christians
2006-10-02 19:30:31

Also I consider myself Catholic btw
2006-10-02 19:36:45

Okay, you seriously need to get at least half a clue about how to debate. Anecdotes are not data. A few stories about some guys who said things when they died are not evidence of a damn thing. If I thought you were worth the effort, it would be a trivial matter to go and find deathbed quotes of non-Christians who said things that were hopeful and cheerful, and quotes from Christian practitioners who said things that were rather distressing and doomsaying under similar circumstances. Get. A. Job.
2006-10-02 19:40:13

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!! Anti-Catholic propoganda FTf*ckingL.
2006-10-02 19:40:17

as with all religious YTMNDs, this gets a one. we are here for comedy, not religous viewpoints. Thanks for trying, but you are excused.
2006-10-02 19:40:54

"she being the child of Roman Catholics, did not now much about Him" Wow. Did you learn about intolerance in the bible?
2006-10-02 19:41:21

fail
2006-10-02 19:41:40

Tachnically excellent. You can use Imageready, I give you that. You seem to suggest from this that only Jesus can save you - other gods are not good enough. Hope that isn't the case. 'Cos that would make your God a dick.
2006-10-02 19:49:37

Kill yourself
2006-10-02 19:50:21

You're annoying.
2006-10-02 19:50:36

Nice presentation. That said, I hope you're not saying "oh, god exists because some guys said some stuff when they died..." I am personally an atheist. I am not consumed by crushing depression, I have no desire to kill anyone, and I made peace with the inevitability of death in childhood as everyone does in one way or another. It's nice that you have your magical invisible man in the sky to comfort you, but please don't try pushing him on other people on YTMND. Also, the music was dull and repetitive.
2006-10-02 19:56:29

=S YTMND Vent is totally owning you. This is a lot better than the previous one, but still whats the point? I guess your purpose is good but ytmnd isnt the right place for this. Also, why the Catholic bashing? Thats offensive, and Catholics know a lot about Jesus. All those anti catholic things effect your credibility. A question, what does God say to a taoist in the far east who has dedicated their life to helping others?
2006-10-02 19:58:16

I dont think whetstone's point is to debate or 'own' anyone, just to inform.
2006-10-02 20:03:24

i have never been so offended in my intire life -9999.
2006-10-02 20:09:44

Always a fan.
2006-10-02 20:11:20

religion gtfo
2006-10-02 20:11:24

Anecdotes from dying people isn't even evidence, they said it as a coping mechanism, because if they didn't I'm sure they'd be screaming their heads off. Maybe I should use all caps to get my point across: VOTE 5 FOR GUILT TRIP! VOTE 5 FOR GUILT TRIP! VOTE 5 FOR GUILT TRIP! VOTE 5 FOR GUILT TRIP! VOTE 5 FOR GUILT TRIP! VOTE 5 FOR GUILT TRIP! VOTE 5 FOR GUILT TRIP!
2006-10-02 20:12:02

also, I thought the religion thing was over and done with on YTMND. You're beating a dead horse, GTFO.
2006-10-02 20:14:02

Seriously, get the f*ck out of the truck.
2006-10-02 20:26:44

Had enough of these, but now they have old-timey anti-Catholic garbage in them, too. Romish? Romanist? Are you using Presbyterian history books from the 19th Century? It should be pointed out that the very same reformers were the kind that created a police state in Geneva and who theological descendents founded New England villages with religious laws as opporessive or more so than during the Inquisition. Anyway, who the f*ck cares? This is not the place for these discussions.
2006-10-02 20:28:04

*oppressive. I fail at proofreading lolcomments.
2006-10-02 20:31:29

Over done christian propaganda. You make me feel sorry for my religion.
2006-10-02 20:40:54

2006-10-02 20:42:37

While not an avid christian, I have to say you did a very good job with this site, and I admire what you're doing for people.
2006-10-02 20:42:43

their is no god. science can prove ANYTHING!
2006-10-02 20:43:05

1'd for fail
2006-10-02 20:46:26

Seriously, stop being an E-missionary. Also the anti-Catholism, love it. No wonder the KKK hates Catholics who moved to the United States. No wonder Ireland is basically the way it is. It'll remain that way. Sorry. It'll be violent again sometime soon between the two Christian sects.
2006-10-02 20:51:23

(repeat)Downvoted because I disagree with your condescending nature as well as your willing ignorance. You elect to respond to only semantic arguments against your points, while the ones that actually counter your argument go unchallenged. Perhaps this comes from a pre-conceived notion that you are already inferior by nature, a common theme in Christianity. It's a shame that your religion has trapped you in a way that you can only see from one perspective, and choose to judge people by it.
2006-10-02 21:03:16

Why do you waste your time? You think anyone is actually gonna watch it? Let alone take it in? I'm sick of your religious propagamda. Don't post anymore (Cue spite and makes another one) to get more viciously downvoted as your other sites have.
2006-10-02 21:05:14

Perhaps I'll believe in christ when his own believers can agree on something. 1'd for catholic-bashing.
2006-10-02 21:14:18

Please continue making these if you feel inspired to do so.
2006-10-02 21:23:11

So stories of how people died and the illusions they had of their deaths is supposed to...inspire to to be religious? when will you learn whetstone, god is a figment of your imagination. He was created out of the insecurites and ignorance of early man. Its amazing that people these days are still religious. I was spoon fed this garbage till i was 18 and i can't stand it anymore. You f*cking christians need to get off your f*cking high horse and open up your minds.
2006-10-02 21:24:56

I've been more or less following the whetstone saga for a while now, and while I will not say anything really positive or negative about this, as it has already been said about a billion times all throughout the thing, I will say this to futily try and prevent some future stupidity. To everyone who uses the free speech garbage line along with "If you don't like it, don't watch it", the reason people who hate it still watch it is because of a part of the human psyche: curiosity.
2006-10-02 21:25:28

They wonder if it will be the same as the last. Will it be better or worse, is the message still the same? Then they come here and express their hatred or gratitude depending on their beliefs. Whether they think it's good or bad, it's entertainment either way. If it's good, it's entertainment by itself. If it's bad, it's entertainment because they can't believe how stupid you are.
2006-10-02 21:25:35

1 because whetstone likes men and no nedm
