darkster2ongame: i would edit an existing site if i didn't love all my sites too much to mess around with them for testing purposes. sure, i could just upload the original files back when finished testing, but then wouldn't that REALLY be wasting valuable server space and bandwidth? not to mention the possibility of someone viewing that particular site while it's in "testing mode" and losing a potential 5. i just can't risk that. also, adding your comment to a site you call a waste of money is adding to this page's total size, as well as the size of your recent comment page and my main page. granted, the addition of a few measly bytes is probably negligible. but it all adds up.
