Almost if not everyone that worked on the first two games were huge metal fans. And Trent Reznor helped do the music fot Doom 2 and Quake.

Not the first game to feature metal in it's soundtrack..Carmageddon features many Fear Factory tracks sans vocals, Body Hammer, Demanufacture and Zero Signal..that being said Id software has great taste in music.

dlpriest: There are some songs that many would say are very similar, but I thought they weren't horribly so, therefore, I didn't add them. However, I'll have to look at some of those songs you pasted after, uh...'acquiring' them and finding out myself.
