I suppose you could also make your point better by just having the stars turn grey... Still...what would you prefer? Green?

well, i'm not really trying to whine about it or anything. I went with all grey stars initially, but that's not really how it looks to me. It's more like... "is that a 4 or a 3? ...or a 2?" hence why i used a gradient
