Do the puppets say things that British kids wouldn't understand or something?
2006-07-02 22:28:04

What's the legal age in Britain? I'd totally Python her Monty, if you know what I mean.

2006-07-02 22:50:21

So... They translated it from english to english? Why not just use subtitles?
2006-07-02 23:00:29

Age of consent in Britain is 16.

2006-07-03 19:49:45

I didn't make anything. I found this on YouTube, which stated this was from England. So 1'ing this thinking I made this is pointless, becasue I did nothing.
2006-07-03 20:57:08

Who gives a f*ck how it's spelled?
2006-07-03 20:58:48

wow....they dubbed the puppets, strange considering the show is filmed in like finland or something. When I was in Ireland they had dubbed over some American commercials too.
2006-07-03 21:03:05

5 for "petophile" and "briian" alone
2006-07-03 21:04:23

"What's the legal age in Britain? I'd totally Python her Monty, if you know what I mean." - Age 16 for Sex/Smoking, 17 for Driving, 18 for drinking alcohol!

2007-07-08 10:46:47

She's 16 now, so you can Python her Monty, or Stick your Big Ben into her Houses of Parliment.
2006-07-03 21:06:12

Also main word thats replaced is candy with sweets.

2006-07-06 02:16:39

fix the spelling of "Britain" for gods sake.
2006-07-06 14:27:18

Er, I'm with roflage on this one. I live in the UK and once watched LazyTown on CBeebies, and they didn't seem to use British VAs. Plus it would be pretty stupid anyway, considering half of the kids shows that get shown here are American imports anyway (and yes, I realise that LazyTown is originally from Iceland).
2006-07-06 19:50:33

haha, americans get the lamer version
2006-07-06 19:52:18

they don't use toothbrushes
2006-07-06 19:54:24

>> In Britain it's "Paedophile" No, it's called 'Wallace and Gromit'
2006-07-06 19:56:56

2006-07-06 20:47:03

This song sounds better in American. British sucks.
2006-07-06 20:50:48

At least you can't hear that annoying male-voice saying "godda" in the british version. Also 5 for "lazytwon" XD

Gay. D:
2006-07-29 01:02:22

I liked Stingy's voice. ("I'm careful, cahn't you see?") I'm still LOLling. I'm guessing either "candy" or "dandy" sounds wrong in British? Because "it makes the food taste a treat" sounds very awkward.
2006-07-29 12:31:52

Hmm, I'm guessing the reason they Brit dubbed the puppet voices is the same reason that ominous "Time for Tubby Bye Bye!" voice in the Teletubbies was American dubbed for US PBS - that reason being, er...no good reason at all, lawl.
2006-07-29 14:37:48

also Spice Girls
2006-10-14 18:55:09

Renegade: "I'm careful, c*nt, you see?" - I laughed uncontrolably for about ten minutes at this comment alone. It's all I can hear now. XD I prefer the British puppet voices when they're speaking, but when it comes to singing they suck serious ass.
