| to an extent this site has served as a "personal site" for me, in the sense that i needed a quick and easy way to share this with people and ytmnd was the perfect place to host it. occasionally i encounter/have to deal with autistic-type IT guys, and Marty's archetypal description in this short story helps me convey my thoughts of them in a poetic way that i couldn't possibly convey myself: in the right case, this story serves a perfect and more hard-hitting substitute for just calling such a person "nerd" | ||||||
