The closest he gets is touching Shinji's hand. imo Kaworo is gay (if he's even male in the first place), but shinji is just desparate for any kind of affection at all and isn't sexually attracted to kaworo. (as evidenced when he masturbates to Asuka's comatose topless body)

Actually, in the manga Kaworu makes out with Shinji. But the manga sucks, so it doesn't count. Still a good site though

The manga was inspired by the show so yes it sucks ass, but Christ he'd be an awesome bad guy in an anime(mian bad guy that lasted more than 3 or so eps.).
