I've done a little bit of research on this my self and found that Lisa McPherson stopped eating and drinking voluntarily. I also found that after she refused the psychiatrist, she went at will with the scientologists that picked her up at the hospital.

What I'm saying here(before someone takes me out of context) is that in a persuasive argument it's a very good idea to present the opposing point of view. I learned this from many comm classes, doing that would make your point much more believable because it looks more as if you're impartial
