G4 should strive to be more like the ZDTV and TechTV of old. Less syndicated crap, and more original programing. We all love Star Trek, but its been done to death. Its filler. Look how great Comedy Central used to be, now its just a dumping ground for MadTV episodes and whatever crappy movie can fill a 2 hour programing block.

I think the death of Tech/G4 was rang in with dumping most of the good TechTV programing in favor of the inferior G4 programing. No offence, but there are 30 channels with crap about cars and clothes. The second thing is the death of "The Screensavers". "Attack of the Show" is hardly a replacement. Also having nontechnial hosts trying to talk about technology is disengenious.
