If the Marvel series is taken to be c-canon, rather than s-canon, he actually escapes from the Sarlacc twice --- once to be knocked back in while riding a Sandcrawler, and then again when he blows a thermal detonator in the Sarlacc's belly. Thirty-six years later, he teams up with Han Solo to take down Han's cousin, who is the current chief of state of Corellia. | ||||||
