Firstly, yes I (16 yrs. old) can hear it and it's really annoying. My father (46 yrs. old) who has worked around plenty of construction sites and equipment cannot hear it. I've gone to plenty of local punk rock concerts and always sit next to the speakers, etc. But I can still hear the high pitched tone. The ringtone idea is pure bullsh*t because there is no cellphone that has a decent enough speaker to output a sound that high-pitched even though my motherboard's(ASUS A8N-SLI Premium) onboard sound can.
