Yes he was, it was called "Sonic Triple Trouble," wich I have in "Sonic Gems Collection." He was also in 2 other games, but hasn't been seen sence.

I thought his name was Fang.

Fang the Sniper is what he's called in Japan. They changed it to "Nack" for US release. I feel like such a gaming nerd knowing all of this.

The sad thing is, I actually remember reading this issue. The comics were pretty good until Shadow and co. came in...

I wish I saw that issue, but I didn't really read the comics at the time. I recently got a subscription, and to me, it seems like they're getting better. (Especially with the new writer.)

Yep, they're still going to this day. I'm pretty surprised myself that it's lasted this long. My latest issue is #163. (Part 2 of a 3 part story.)

That dumbass on GameFAQs said in a review of Sonic Mega Collection "The comics are discontinued" I'm gonna kill that sunuvabitch! Right after I get my subscription. *grabs rapier*

Triple Trouble is my favorite Sonic game. And I've started reading the Sonic Comic books again after all this time.

Thinking of getting back into the comics now that #200 is around the corner. Is Robotnik still actually killing people like he did in issue #50?

He's killed some in his "Egg grapes" (wich drain lifeforce from living things) around issues 160-170. Though Enerjak (yeah Enerjak came back, cool, eh?) destroyed his Egg grape chamber. Nowadays, he focuses more on trying to kill Sonic. (Like he should probilly.) Overall, I think the writer Ian Flyne is doing a good job on the series.

That's anybody's weakness really.
