I love halo but I found out that PC players HATE halo players for some reason...maybe cause they play CS and believe its the only "pro" FPS out there or something (Just my opnion I play cs too but not as heavily as some of these guys)

ForkHead: Several reasons, actually. Controllers are worthless for FPS games, the PC port of Halo was a crime against humanity, the level design is repetitive and uninteresting, you need to pay a monthly fee to play the game online, the plot is cliche and poorly written, it brought no new game play elements to the table, and was all around a crappy game.

Continued: Of course, consoles don't get anywhere near as many FPSes as the PC, so when you compare it to the rest of the games in the console market it hasn't had much competition. For an XBox game Halo is above average, but for a PC game it would be mediocre at best IF it were ported properly. CS has nothing to do with it aside from being another game.

Halo's strength is its multiplayer. And if you tell me Halo's multiplayer sucked, I will slap you in the face with my cock and prove you wrong. Halo PC had some of the best multiplayer, as did the xbox version. Granted, Halo's true home is on the PC. Halo 2 will be an excellent port if pulled off. The level design improved worlds over its predecessor.

Halo's trailer looked nothing like the game. Halo 2's trailer looked nothing like the game. Halo 3's trailer will also follow suite. Real gameplay footage is necessary.

I just love how any YTMND that relates to anything people can identify becomes a referendum on that topic, thus leaving the actual quality of the site itself in a place of secondary importance. I personally love the Halo franchise, but frankly, the quality of this site is fairly mediocre. Nevertheless, the music is good.

Halo is an epic game. I prefer PC FPS + MPH, But I will be buying Halo 2 for PC when it comes out. Just the SOUNDTRACK OF Halo 2 makes it epic.
