whoa, hey, i respect the kudos to my series but they aren't mine. Like i try to show, none of the stuff i put together is made by me in any way. To be honest i enjoyed your series based largely on the fact that i was sure YOU made them.

that being said, i am glad that more people are allowing ytmnd to be something broader than just humor. Frankly this medium (picture + text + sound) allows for a wide variety of purpose and i hope that these aren't the last you make.

You shouldn't have to explain anything you create on this site to any number of tardpiles that may lurk herein. People create different sites for different reasons. I try to test my ability in different areas such as graphically - how well I can edit/ani

mate photos and such. Some people like to toy with sounds and create their own sounds rather than rip them from a CD or DL them from Limewire. My work may not be as popular

as yours, Syncans, Mastersitsu's or Money-Hat's but I consider it to be rather good. I don't have a "cult following" like you fellas do but it's bringing what I do in my spare time to life that matters to me.

You can see that same quality in people who tend to make well-thought-out or intricate YTMND's rather than this sh*t with guys sucking eachother's dicks. You can really see the line on this site that seperates the men from the boys.

OK, Mr. Boomaga. I've had countless hours of conversations about YTMND.com w/friends and we always discuss the value of artistic expression and positive feedback. This site is all about comments and recognition, and the ability to handle 'NEGATIVE' criticism. When someone H8's ur sh*t, there are manifold ways to react, sometimes it helps you deal with this kind of reaction. And you dont HAVE to pander to the mainstream, but have to be relevant if you can, and

'teh funny' is a hard thing to do right. This site is not exactly an art gallery, and it wont function as one as long as the CORE audience is biased, and expects a humorous joke for their time. I have learned to work with this structure, and it can help to guide each site thusly. I like your sh*t alot.

Personally I've pulled a few funny-for-me-sorta-avant-garde-but-amusing-to-me type things, but nothing purely art. And they've been more rebelious than anything.

My vote is not necessarily on the actual quality of the site, but the idea for which it stands for. This is a sad yet true explanation of the mindset of YTMND, as well as quickly becoming the mindset of our culture in general; Instant Gratification is the name of the game, and forcing a user to think for longer than 5-10 seconds about a piece of work is simply absurd.
