Ok, as an intellectual property law student, I think the legal threat from PEZ is really weak. If they're claiming trademark infringement then it's fair use because this is a parody and not using the PEZ name to make money. If they're claiming copyright infringement, it's also fair use because it's not for profit, and is a transformative work, meaning that the image has been change suffiently to be fair use. If they're claiming something under Austrian law, first of all they don't have jurisdiction.

Secondly this a potentially a first amendment issue because the regulation by a civil suit would be content-based and thus PEZ would have to show a real compelling government interest in controlling the speech, which there really isn't.
