I was expecting an 8-bit remix of the music...but I wasn't expecting an 8-bit quality digitized voice. You're the man now, dog!
2006-02-28 05:21:32

I wonder how much space that voice-over would have taken for those old-school game paks...

*begs for an explanation of how to make NES-sounding music the way you did*
2006-02-28 15:00:32

Well, making the NES music the way I did isn't very easy, but you just use the tools at http://www.geocities.co.jp/Playtown-Denei/9628/ - there's a little tutorial in the "Make NSF" section. You'll also need an NSF player to hear the results.
2006-02-28 15:01:51

A much easier way is to use http://nesdev.parodius.com/nt2/ - but it's not as flexible and I don't think it can do digital sounds like voices.
2006-02-28 15:03:21

Correction: NerdTracker DOES have digital sound support.
2006-02-28 15:43:27
