It's not impossible, but still, I see your point.

You have no idea how many YEARS that took me to beat that. But what you do is charge up your spin on it to make it go down. That's it. You'll feel like kicking the screen in when it works.

yes!!!! i wanted to get past that level but i could never ever get past that point of the whole level so i just gave up and didnt bother playing the game again

Actually you can do it also by just pushing up and down on the controller till the drum drops far enough to get down...

You press up and down. You just f*cking press up and down until you can easily hop off to the side..... Took me an entire f*cking day to figure it out. f*cking perfect site. 5.

You hold up and down? I got it the first time with must frustration. I beat the level with 7 minutes but it's certainly not impossible.

I figured it out in about a minute. Is that unusual?

All I did was stand dead on in the middle and press up and down in rythm...

Took me years to figure that bit out. A MENTION IN THE MANUAL WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL, SEGA...

This part stunk me up too...luckily, I found a way!

This part is the entire reason that I never finished this game, back when I had my Genesis. Then, some ten years later, I buy Sonic Mega Collection and figure it out the first f*cking time. DAMN YOU SEGA!

Took me so long, I sold my game, then bought it years later and got my sister to beat that part for me. I nopw know how she did it. God. 5/5

I had problems with this too, when I got Sonic Mega Collection I was able to get through it easier, and yeah it was Impossible almost XD

Only a REAL sonic fan would understand this! I quit the game when I was about 9 because I couldn't get past this and I just now bought the sonic collection and figured out you press down. Grrrr!!

Yeah, I always hated this part.

I didnt know what this was untill I saw the comments, Then I remembered how f*cking hard that spot was..took me a whole night.. And theres just something about mission impossible and sonic that makes you laugh. :P

AHHHHHHHH I HATED THAT PART! I got through it *ONCE* but wasn't in save mode!

Anyone who doesn't get this joke needs to be slapped. It took me years and years until I found out you f*cking pressed UP AND DOWN. Since I could never beat that level as a kid, I used the level skip cheat, haha.

I was an 8 year old with a Sega Genesis, the all new Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and great hate for Carnival Night Zone, Act 2. Took me almost a year to get past that god-forsaken area.

Hey, I found this. Anyway, I couldn't beat this for several years,because I couldn't figure out how to get past this.

I was stuck at that part too... and I managed to get tails stuck in the wall at that part too 0__o

you dont have to charge up your spin or even jump, just press up and down till its far enough to get down I get it though, i used to restart the game all the time at that point of course i was 8 but hey, it was still frustrating
