As far as I know the guys who filmed it have not admitted to it, and a bunch of "experts" claim the walking motion can't be done by a human, even in a suit. It has not been "proven" fake yet.

The guy who filmed it i think died a few years later, and the guy who claimed to be in the suit did the exact same walk for a camera. (I was watching a show about bigfoot a few weeks ago)
