| For those who do not understand, Jack Thompson promised to give 10,000 dollars to charity if someone would have the guts to produce a video game featuring a character who plays violent video games and then goes on a murderous rampage. The Gaming community produced several such games in the coming months as an open challenge to Jack. He then claimed that he had been joking about the money and refused to pay up.
