Well, some time ago, there was the first MMORPG epidemic, the Corrupted Blood. At around 250 damage each two seconds, it was enough to kill most players under lv50 in about 10 seconds. But the worst part is, it was contagious. It spread into towns, cities, and all over the game.

IT's funny because it's a blood, which happens to be corrupted, that spreads to other players around you. Someone did this, screaming "AIDS"

It's not even an inside joke, it explains what the blood is, then shows people being splattered with red and taking damage, while someone screams "EVERYONE HAS AIDS". I understood it and I've never even known someone who plays WoW.

Could you explain this for non-wow'ers? :'(
