| God, it was even worse on the Gameboy version, crappy green and yellow screen that was blurry when you moved combined with that level was hell. | ||||||

| 5 for Battletoads. Stage 7, Volkmire's Inferno is straight up impossible, though, despite a guy on GameFAQs saying it's easier than Turbo Tunnel. Dunno what he's smokin', I've beat every level in the game without cheating except 7, where I had to use the warp in the previous level. I hope you don't count the warp as cheatin'... | ||||||
| Wha? Volkmire's Inferno is one of my favorite levels. Maybe it's because I'm more savvy with the Genesis version, which seems to have toned down on the difficulty, I dunno. There's this one spot--I'm not sure where at, really, it might be the bottom left or the top left corner-- where you'll be safe to just stay there when the missles are firing and falling down.
The part where you have to avoid the walls is pretty hard, though, but I love it. Maybe it's the music. | ||||||
