A rather humdrum "Lol Internet" site. But... the platypus is one of my all-time favorite animals! Why, did you know that the males have a poisonous needle behind a back leg which they can use to deter attackers? The platypus is also one of the few mammals able to lay eggs rather than give live birth. The platypus has millions of electrical sensory pores on its bill which allows it to "see" the minute discharges caused by muscle contractions of nearby underwater creatures. Yes sir, the platypus is a wonder. Good choice.
